Antar Laniyan, a Nigerian actor, was born on May 26, 1963, in Osogbo, the capital of Osun State in southwestern Nigeria.
He studied at Baptist Secondary School, where he obtained his West African Senior School Certificate (WAEC),
Antar Laniyan’s academic journey commenced with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts at the University of Ibadan.

Career
In 1981, his acting career began when he bagged his first role, a “major general” in a film titled Everybody Wants to Know.

He has also directed the award-winning Nigerian TV series “Super Story” by Wale Adenuga Productions in 2000.
His directorial expertise extended to projects like Oh Father Oh Daughter and This Life, produced from the stable of Wale Adenuga Production.
