Early Life and Education
Moji Afolayan was born on February 5 1968, in Agbamu, a town in the Irepodun Local Government area of Kwara State, southwestern Nigeria. Later, she moved to Lagos State, where she grew up.
Known as the first daughter of the late veteran actor and producer Adeyemi Afolayan, aka Ade Love, she is also regarded as the elder sister of Aremu Afolayan, Kunle Afolayan and Gabriel Afolayan.
She was born and raised in a family that loves acting; many of her relatives are in the entertainment industry.
Moji Afolayan attended Coker Primary School at Orile Iganmu, Lagos State, Nigeria, before moving to Esie Iludun Anglican School, where she acquired the West Africa School Certificate (WAEC).
Furthermore, her educational journey continued; she obtained training as a school teacher at the Oyo State College of Education.

Moji Afolayan has acted in several Nigerian movies. She gained recognition after starring in movies during her father’s active years in the Awada Kerikeri Theatre Group.

Moji: We met during the course of our jobs in the film industry about 15 years ago if I can remember. However, we courted for two years before we tied the nuptial knot.
Rasaq: We met at a movie location in Ibadan. We courted for two years and got married on December 4, 2004.
